Santiago, Chile, Oct 12: Four players scored as Chile overwhelmed Peru 4-2 on Tuesday in a South American World Cup qualifier. Walter Ponce opened the scoring after two minutes and Eduardo Vargas made it 2-0 in the 18th. Gary Medel made it 3-0 in the 47th before Claudio Pizarro got one back two minutes later for Peru. Peru striker Jefferon Farfan made it interesting with a goal in the 60th to make it 3-2 before Humberto Suazo scored two minutes later to cap the scoring. Peru and Chile both have three points after their first two qualifying matches. AP
